I've been struggling…finally sharing

I’m just been really struggling lately. Things could always be so much worse, but I still thought I’d share some details of what’s been going on. Maybe it’ll make you (or others watching) feel not so alone. Life isn’t perfect and we all deal with something!! I’m so thankful for you all though…truly!!!

This video has helped me in so many ways; I have great dental health insurance and after suddenly losing two important family members within the the span of 8 months this year, I gave up on keeping on top of my dental health. I too have had significant dental issues because my maternal side has always tended to be calcium deficient and and very thin teeth. Our TEETH are important, vital to our health and self esteem for when we smile. Both of those are crucial to the other; we need to be able to fully smile without fear of judgement and eat without fear of pain. I have a dental implant that has not yet had the new tooth placed on it because about a year ago, the bills and payments became too much. I’ve been afraid to smile- even with my face mask on. I do not fully smile anymore which is detrimental to my health and well-being. I’m going to call and leave a message for the dentist first thing Monday morning because taking care of myself means taking the necessary steps do to so. Thank you for your honesty. You’re not alone in this.

Girlllllll I’m right there with you on this teeth issue. I have noooo clue how much I have spent on my teeth- just to not be in pain. Same story, a normal dentist appointment at 25 years old turned into now 20 years of dental madness. Soooooo….I totally feel your pain…literally!
