I've been struggling…finally sharing

I’m just been really struggling lately. Things could always be so much worse, but I still thought I’d share some details of what’s been going on. Maybe it’ll make you (or others watching) feel not so alone. Life isn’t perfect and we all deal with something!! I’m so thankful for you all though…truly!!!

Sometimes, people forget that influencers are just like the rest of us 💕 It takes courage to open up about something so personal and nobody should judge you for your struggles because we all have them. Comments about weight are not appropriate and it’s a shame that people made insensitive remarks without knowing what you were going through. I hope you will find the help you need and continue to find happiness in your day to day blessings.

I’ve been dealing with teeth and jaw problems for 25 years. I’m 40 this year wearing braces and in 6 months I will have jaw surgery to fix my bite. This was something I was supposed to do when I was 16 but my parents didn’t have the money to help me. After being a mom and everything I am now paying to fix it myself. My top teeth and bottom teeth don’t touch. I use only a couple teeth to eat food and that’s been the way I’ve always been. So those few teeth have cracked and had root canals and I lost some of them. That doesn’t even cover the aesthetic quality of my face, and I am actually a pretty person but my teeth overlap and my face is asymmetrical. I could be so much prettier if I had a normal looking jaw line. It has been painful and affected me for so long. The thought of having jaw surgery and being wired shut for weeks is freaky but it has to be done. So I feel you.
