Maggie Peterson Mancuso died Sunday at the age of 81.Mancuso played the beloved character of “Charlene Darling”, on the Andy Griffith Show.The Andy Griffith Museum posted on Facebook that Mancuso died on May 15.The post reads “we will miss you Maggie.”Mancuso appeared with the Darling family in six episodes of the Andy Griffith Show from 1963 to 1966.She also appeared on episodes of Greens Acres, Gomer Pyle USMC, Love American Style and The Odd Couple.

Maggie Peterson Mancuso died Sunday at the age of 81.

Mancuso played the beloved character of “Charlene Darling”, on the Andy Griffith Show.

The Andy Griffith Museum posted on Facebook that Mancuso died on May 15.

The post reads “we will miss you Maggie.”

Mancuso appeared with the Darling family in six episodes of the Andy Griffith Show from 1963 to 1966.
